Message from the artist

Welcome to my latest newsletter.  I am delighted to introduce my new improved website in this edition as well as my latest portraits and still life pieces.  The lemon squeezer continues to explore the fleshy textures of fruit and the fascinating visual effects created by glass, while the mask painting was inspired by a recent
evening I enjoyed at a masked ball.

More recent work

Portrait of Diane Church,

Oil on canvas, 2008

Diane Church owned a business in London for a number of years and this portrait looks to communicate both her sense of humour and quietly flamboyant personality, as well as her love of colour and appreciation of Eastern culture.

Study of Nan (ii),

Pencil on paper, 2008

This very personal study of Charlotte's Grandmother is the latest in Charlotte's collection of drawings.
